Due to popular demand, we are offering a bonus session with Rabbi Joe Skloot.

When Does the Torah Begin?
In this session, on the heels of Purim and anticipating Pesah, we will explore why the Torah begins with the story of the creation of the world and not the story of the Exodus. Not surprisingly, for those who joined us last week, this has to do with Persia. But more importantly, it speaks to the tension between universalism and particularism in Judaism.
