Thursday, February 5, 2026
3:00 pm - 4:15 pm

A program of the Miriam & Moses Center for Pluralistic Adult Jewish Learning

This is an online class series offered through Laasok with instructor Rabbi Brian Stoller.

In this seven-session course, participants will survey the classics of rabbinic literature from late antiquity through the Middle Ages. Attendees will gain basic familiarity with key rabbinic sources—such as Midrash, Talmud, biblical commentary, law codes, and philosophy—including a general understanding of what they are, the historical contexts in which they were produced, their basic literary features, and how to find and navigate them on Sefaria.

The community is welcome at this event.
