Guest speaker: Rabbi Evan Schultz, Poet and Senior Rabbi, Congregation B’nai Israel and Rabbi Stoller Book Launch Party

Rabbi Evan Schultz, one of Reform Judaism’s leading poets, is senior rabbi of Congregation B’nai Israel in Bridgeport, CT. He is the author of Morning, Noon, and Night: Poetry in the Language of Jewish Time, a collection dedicated to the victims of the October 7 terror attacks in Israel. He recently published a second book, A Candle Unconsumed: Poetry in the Language of Jewish Spirit.

Immediately following Rabbi Schultz’s talk, a bagel brunch, provided and sponsored by TBE Brotherhood, will be served.

Politics & Pluralism: Essays on Democracy, Antisemitism, Power & Culture in an Age of Polarization

Rabbi Stoller will speak about his process in writing the book and talk about why pluralism is so important to Reform Jewish life.
Guests include book contributors Rabbi Evan Schultz, Rabbi Erica Asch, and Dr. Alyssa Gray.

 

All are welcome at this free event, but registration is requested to ensure we have enough refreshments for all attendees.
