During 5783, TBE’s Advocates for Social Justice are forging ahead in safeguarding voting rights for all citizens. We are contacting registered voters around the country, urging them to protect their access to the ballot by exercising their right to vote in upcoming elections.
What is Jewish about voting?
The Torah reminds us that we must make choices to create the world we want to live in. Voting, in a democratic society, is such an example of making a choice. What we do now through Election Day will determine the character of the nation and the nature of the society we leave for our children and their children. We should be getting voters to the polls.
Give a few minutes of your time between 11 a.m.-1 p.m. as we put pen to paper, encouraging voters around the country to exercise their right to vote.
Let us know if you will attending. RSVP required so there are sufficient materials for all participants! We invite all to join us in this vital work!
