The Quest of Questions: A Virtual Tour led by Dr. Raquel Ukeles, PhD, Head of Collections, National Library of Israel

Dr. Raquel Ukeles, head of collections at the National Library of Israel, will lead an exclusive virtual tour of a major exhibition that opened in Jerusalem this past summer. This session will explore how premodern Jewish, Muslim and Christian thinkers approached the great mysteries of existence. By looking closely at rare manuscripts and historic treasures from the library’s collections, attendees will see how these diverse traditions asked remarkably similar questions—ones that mirror our own search for meaning today: What is the world and how does it function? What is our purpose as human beings? What is time, and how do we measure it?

Brunch will be served and registration is required at this free in-person only program. Presenter will be on Zoom.
