TBE Explorers: Tour of Eldridge Street Synagogue

Join us as we explore the 1887 Eldridge Street Synagogue, the first great house of worship by Eastern European Jewish immigrants in the U.S. This magnificent National Historic Monument has been lovingly restored and today is a touchstone of the Lower East Side immigrant experience. LIRR to Penn Station:
-from Great Neck 10:20 a.m.
-from Little Neck 10:23 a.m.

Walk to 6th Avenue for F train to 2nd Avenue stop, then walk to Katz’s Deli where we will have lunch at noon (pay your own way).

It is a 20-minute walk to the Synagagogue, where our tour begins at 2 p.m.
