Special Memorial Service

Remembering Our Children

There are a number of families in our congregation who have experienced the tragic death of a child. With the guidance of Rabbi Tara Feldman, these families planted a beautiful cherry tree in the garden outside the west entrance to our synagogue in memory of their children.

We invite you to join our clergy beside that memorial cherry tree on Friday September 22 at 6:15 p.m.—the Shabbat between Rosh Hashanah and Yom Kippur—for a service in remembrance of the children of our community who have died. We invite all members of our congregation to attend this service and, by the gift of your presence, to be a source of comfort and strength to our fellow congregants as together we remember the children of Temple Beth-El.

We invite you to stay afterward for our Erev Shabbat Service at 7 p.m.
