Shabbat Alive/Guest Sermon by Lois Schaffer

Join us for TBE’s familiar service, blending an eclectic variety of styles that includes contemporary, Sephardic, communal singing, renewals as well as traditional nusach and melodies heard most weeks.

This week’s service will also feature a special guest sermon by Lois Schaffer, whose daughter was a victim of gun violence. A lifelong gun safety advocate, Lois will be introduced by former NYS Assemblywoman Michelle Schimel, with whom she’s worked on gun safety legislation.
