 or an exciting fall semester of Tuesday Night Symposium where we will disc
 uss Religion and State in Modern Jewish History over 10 sessions.\n\n*This
  session runs from 10/13 through 12/22\; there is no class on 11/24*\n\nIn
 structor: Rabbi Brian Stoller&nbsp\;\n\nThe separation of church and state
 \, a core principle of the United States since its founding\, hangs in the
  balance. As some state and federal leaders move to inject a particular fo
 rm of Protestant Christianity into our public spaces\, Jewish history can 
 shed light on the challenges and opportunities we might face as the line b
 lurs between religion and state. This course will survey key historical de
 velopments in Jewish history\, including Moses Mendelssohn's Enlightenment
  vision\, the rise of European nationalism\, the United States' experiment
  in pluralistic democracy\, religion and state in modern Israel\, and the 
 troubling resurgence of Christian nationalism in America today.\n\nRegistr
 ation deadline is Tuesday\, September 29\nFee: $50 for members and $100 fo
 r not-yet members\n\nLate registration (after September 29) fees: $100 for
