 y of the American Yiddish Theater: A Musical Overview with Zalmen Mlotek
 —At Temple Beth-El\n\nDoors open at 6:30 p.m for wine and light dessert.
 \n\nThis one-of-a-kind journey of the Yiddish theater—from its European 
 roots to Ellis Island\, Second Avenue\, and beyond—will be led by Zalmen
  Mlotek\, the award-winning artistic director of the National Yiddish Thea
 tre Folksbiene (www.nytf.org) and musical director of Fidler Afn Dakh (Fid
 dler on the Roof)\, directed by Joel Grey. With musical influences from op
 eretta\, Tin Pan Alley\, and Broadway—and translating as he sings—he w
