DESCRIPTION:Our day begins with a presentation by the YIVO Learning and Med
 ia Center Educator\, about the lives of interwar Jewish Youth in Poland th
 rough a look at autobiographies written and collected by YIVO 90 years ago
  featuring curated reproductions of YIVO archival materials.\n\nWe will vi
 ew two major exhibits:\n\n"Runaway Husbands\, Desperate Families: The Stor
 y of the National Desertion Bureau\," which traces the history of the Nati
 onal Desertion Bureau and includes never before seen records and documents
 .\n\n"The Instant Art of Morris Katz\," which showcases paintings of the w
 orld's fastest and most prolific artist\, Morris Katz. Katz\, who survived
  the Holocaust as a child\, lived as a performing artist\, painting for au
 diences in the Catskills while joking and explaining his craft.\n\nThese w
 ill also be led by the YIVO Educator.\n\nWe will break for lunch\, and we 
 will be able to bring it back into the meeting room.\n\nWe will take the L
