DESCRIPTION:Join us at our annual Martin Luther King Jr. Erev Shabbat Servi
 ce. NYS Governor Kathy Hochul will be speaking at this special event.\n\nT
 he MLK Erev Shabbat service is a time-honored tradition at Temple Beth-El\
 , ever since the reverend spoke at the synagogue in the 1960s. Dr. King’
 s meaningful—and still relevant—words from his civil rights speech con
 tinue to resonate with us.\n\nLed by Rabbi Brian Stoller\, Rabbi Megan Bru
 mer and Cantor Adam Davis\, the service will include music by an interfait
 h chorus led by Dr. Nigel Gretton and the Shir Appeal Jewish a capella ens
 emble from Tufts University. The special music\, choral highlights and spe
 cially selected readings will heighten this meaningful annual event.\n\nTh
 e entire community is invited to attend our Erev Shabbat Service. A specia
 l Oneg Shabbat follows.\n\nFor your safety\, no bags or backpacks will be
