WRJ LogoThe Women's Network

Women's Network is proud to be counted among the 100,000 Women of Reform Judaism , joining together women of different ages and backgrounds. WN provides its membership with interesting and provocative programs. Because most of our members are working women, the majority of our programs take place at night.

In service to the Temple, WN provides flowers and refreshments for Shabbat and holidays.  We also make a substantial annual financial contribution to Temple Beth-El.  We fund these projects with a variety of moneymaking efforts, including various tribute funds, the Judaica Shop, and the sale of Passover candy.  We rely upon and appreciate the support of the congregation in these endeavors.

WN reaches out to satisfy humanitarian needs of the community.  A devoted WN committee brings flowers to bereaved or ailing congregants.  We hope to resume services to the blind shortly, as soon as the Talking Book and Braille Bindery facilities are restored.

Our commitment to the Jewish community is evidenced by our efforts to support Israel and our continued religious studies.

Within WN can be found a comfortable place for each and every woman.  Membership dues are $40.  Please send your tax-deductible check, payable to Women’s Network of Temple Beth-El, to Chris Knauer at 47 Arrandale Avenue, Great Neck, NY 11024.  We would love to have you join us for our monthly Rosh Chodesh celebrations, our annual Women's Seder and special events throughout the year.  Information about all WN programs can be found in the Temple Bulletin every month.

Uniongrams and cards from Women of Reform Judaism are an expression of caring that help to support the Reform movement.  Please contact Ann Finkelstein to order them: 487-0227 or azf574@aol.com.
