Amanda Greenawalt
AMANDA GREENAWALT joined the Temple Beth-El staff in June 2011 and serves as the Director of Congregational Engagement. She currently leads our development, membership, communications and social action initiatives.  Amanda holds Associate and Bachelor's degrees from SUNY Fashion Institute of Technology in Advertising and Marketing Communications, and she is a graduate of the third cohort of Hebrew Union College's Certificate in Jewish Education. Amanda is active in, and the current Vice President of Programming for, A.T.I.D. (Advancing Temple Institutaional Development) the Reform movement's organization for synagogue development professionals.  She previously held positions in event planning, advertising promotion, and marketing .  Amanda has served as a Youth Director and educator in synagogues on Long Island for more than 14 years.  She is a Long Island native and lives in Glen Cove with her husband Patrick, son Ari, and their dog Olive.
