bulletEnable families to explore their own Jewish cultural histories and backgrounds while creating Jewish family memories.
bulletIncrease meaningful Jewish observance in the home.
bulletFoster relationships between the Jewish home and the Temple.
bulletIncrease involvement in Temple activities and develop a sense of community.

Family Education Objectives:

bullet Help parents play integral roles in their children’s Religious school educational curriculum through PACT (Parent and Child Together) and Family Confirmation programs.
bulletOffer parallel learning atmospheres in Family School where parents and children study on their respective levels in order to facilitate discussions in the home.
bulletOffer cross-generational and alternative family programming accessible to the entire congregation, focusing on Jewish holiday and life-cycle events.

bulletOur PACT Program (Parents and Children Together) is held monthly for parents and students of grades K-5. Each grades’ program concentrates on a different aspect of Jewish learning and is held on a Monday or Tuesday (depending on which day your child attends) beginning at 4pm. Parents are urged to make a special effort to attend your child’s PACT program (Please see the school calendar for dates).
bullet6th Graders and their parents attend a Bnai Mitzvah Shabbaton, held on a Saturday morning. At this event, parents and children learn together about the exciting lifecycle event that the student and her/his family are about to experience. It is a memorable morning of prayer, learning and socializing that is not to be missed.  Families may choose from one of two sessions offered (Please see school calendar for dates).

See Home Page Calendar for important dates.
