Infuse Social Action awareness
into TBE structure and many layers of activities and committees to supports a
Social Action Council to achieve a Social Justice synagogue supporting
education, action and advocacy
Monthly TBE Bulletin articles
as updates on activities
Support advocacy activities
initiated by the Religious Action Council and Commission on Social Action
Support all Temple arms who
conduct social action activities with their groups
Plan and carry out Social
Action Shabbat activities with committee and presence at Oneg Shabbats
Support all Mitzvah Day
activities and committee to assure a successful day
Support Temple members’
interests on social justice topics, including Darfur/Sudan Crisis; political
appointments to US government
Continue efforts to support Israel through selected
causes
